What is the appeal of this blogger?

Recently I came across writings of a blogger named Dhruv Rathee. I saw some of his videos on YouTube. His videos contain a lot of information and he presents them in a nice digestible way.

Most of his videos are made on topics of national and societal concern and seem to have a political leaning towards the left. But one thing I have noticed is that he whines and whines all throughout his political videos.

I understand that criticism is the right of every concerned citizen and should be engaged by the educated as they are aware of what is going on.

But it is another thing to sit in Germany ( he lives in Germany if I am not wrong) and then criticize each act of the Govt. and the PM. without really offering anything positive.

If you are that concerned and educated enough to understand the problems then why not provide solutions as well? Why not write to the Govt. through social media how the problems can be solved?

He seems to have accumulated a tidy number of followers in social media (some 2mil in YouTube alone!).

Why not use that power for positive change? Why keep whining every time Govt. rolls out policies.

He does not do that. He makes nice videos about what Govt. and Modi is doing wrong, just like every other liberal! They don’t have any solutions, so they keep on moaning and moaning!

I used to like his earlier videos when he concentrated on giving more information and less politics. Now he is turning out to be just another liberal whiner. That is really a shame!
